Kelsey Weber is a designer based in Northern Kentucky. She is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Visual Communication Design at Northern Kentucky University (expected graduation date: 2021).
Kelsey's creative work is influenced by personal experiences with family, friends, home, and her journeys while traveling. Her ideas take form in design, illustration, and photography. Kelsey has a growing interest in other art media.
ARTIST STATEMENT
I’m often influenced by the world going on around me and in my personal life. Growing up, I was always creating art, and in college, I discovered design and photography. I love having the ability to incorporate graphite, design, and photography into my work.
Combining different themes of work allows me the freedom to have a diverse approach to my creative practice. My work is both elegant and classical while emphasizing a sense of home.
My work is for more mature audiences who have had time for their own experiences and can better understand mine. As I create work that expresses my experiences, I hope my audience will find it personably relatable.
